Startup challenges with Hans Hanspal
I recently caught up with Hans Hanspal to discuss business growth challenges. Hans is a friend and colleague I was introduced to nearly 10 years ago when GE Digital was working with a startup Hans was leading. Over that dinner we discussed the challenge of customer acquisition cost and cash burn and how that was often overlooked in trying to scale a business.
Since then I’ve enjoyed many discussions about business challenges with Hans over coffee, beers, or just walking the streets of Seattle. In this video we come back to the challenges of cash burn and customer acquisition, as well as Product-Market fit, the role of both product and sales in business growth, and why companies need both “Hackers and Hustlers” to scale and grow.
